The only reason why I don't support Hulk Hogan's final run is because Hogan would have to much political control over it. He can guarantee that the pay-off for himself would be greater than the risk, even if he is not able to perform at a passable standard.

And actually, I side with Swifty on the finisher thing. If you think the people's elbow is shitty, then explain the Bionic Elbow drop.

Too many wrestlers use a run-up drop move. For example, Kofi Kingston's BOOM leg drop, MVP's Ballin' Elbow and Cena's five knuckle shuffle. All of them run off the ropes, and then stop to pose. By stopping, they lose all momentum gained by the run-up.

The Rock uses that momentum. He starts with a leg drop attempt, but swivels him self into the elbow drop. He puts extra effort into the actual attack part of the attack. The brunt of the attack will be around Rock's arm and shoulders.

Hogan, however, did not always run. He just took large steps. And ultimately he was dependent on gravity the weight of his leg doing all of the damage. The brunt of the attack will be around Hogan's butt.

An the impact of the leg drop is spread across the chest. The impact of the people's elbow is focused into whatever the elbow connects with.
