How to use full saves ?

If you are familiar with king kanyon's wwe vs tna forever , i combined the downloaded folders and i start the original no mercy rom and i still have the default roster , what should i do ? this is my first time using a no mercy save

Put the save file in the save folder.

Get rid of the original fla. file and replace it with the new one. You have it in there as a copy. (Thanks for the screencap!)

You're getting there, which folder are you putting the texture files?

I have not changed anything with the structure i just extracted the downloaded files , that means that the textures are in
wwe vs tna forever\plugin\wwf no mercy\hires_textures\
and inside that folder there are folders like arenas , wrestlers , weapons , etc....

I have tried victor's warzone and i get the same results

Yeah, this is what I would do.

I would make a fresh pj.64 folder without any roms or textures folders in it. Extract the folder, and manually move each file from the downloaded folder to the pj.64 file, one by one.

The setting in the tutorials work for pj.64 1.6, which is what every save that has been released so far is compatible with.

I'll help however I can, it took me days to get No Mercy mods to work the first time, but it was completely worth it. It always comes down to a few little things, it seems.

so i used a new p64 folder with the hi-res textures inside the plugins folder , i get a black screen and "loading textures " thing , but when the loading is over i get an error

You are almost there. Double check your cht. file and turn them all off, in all likelihood its a cheat creating the black screen.

Am I the only No Mercy guy willing to help anyone? C'mon, members, stop being lazy.

Thanks man for helping me thus far , the cheats are already off , i have attached a preview of what happens before the emulator crashes , when this loading is over , it goes into a blackscreen for 3-4 seconds and then the emulator crashes like the preview in the previous post

Maybe try moving the folder into the C drive, or change your graphics plugin. I'd suggest doing one before doing the other so you know what does and doesn't work.

I'd also check your emu settings, make sure it isn't trying to go fullscreen upon loading the rom in a resolution your computer doesn't support. That can happen, sometimes.

I was having the same or a similar problem. I finally got everything working by going to Configure Graphics Plugin -> Direct X tab -> Depth Buffer Type -> Change to 16-bit (from 32-bit)

I've also tried to get the mods to work on P64 v2.0 and have had no luck getting anything to load. If you are by chance using 2.0, my above post may not be helpful. If you are, try downloading 1.6. CBV, what emulator do you use?

(I wanted to get 2.0 working for when Jazz gets closer to done with his Japanese save. I saw he said something about needing the unlimited cheat code space.)

I try to be helpful whenever I can. hahah
