Any of you people affected by this? I saw the footage on TV today and was taken back by what I saw.

Thoughts go out to any of you affected by this.

Thankfully, our more active American members are well away from this. But I do not know if there are others.

Apparently, Manhatten and New Jersey have had their electricity shut off as a precaution. Many towns are flooded. There are even people claiming that they have seen sharks swimming through their streets. But it has not been verified if these photos are real or photo-shopped.

All flights from Northern Ireland to North America have been cancelled, regardless of state. The rest of Ireland should do the same tomorrow morning.

I hope that that was a misunderstanding Goatcheese. I know that WildForce's profile says that he is from Iceland, but he is currently in America.

Yours says that you are from South Africa. If this really did have an effect on your country, then us in the North Eastern hemisphere are already screwed.

It had made it already up to 15 degrees colder than normal (could become worse quickly they said) & the we are under severe wind advisory for the few days among other things.

And yes BeiberCheese it says Iceland, because thats were we plan on moving to.
