I got a problem with project 64 1.7

One guy from other forum told me that pj 64 1.7 makes the textures look better.Well i had downloaded the 1.7 version and add some textures and when i started the emulator everything was ok,but when the texures were finally loaded the whole project64 crashed,so would you be able to help me???

EDIT: Sorry for my bad english (im bulgarian)
