Does anyone happen to have an extra pair of scissors they could part with?

I'm trying to make a cape out of the curtains in my living room.

Capes are cool.

I have a pair of safety scissors, but it's only one side. So you would have to use them in a more stabbing and or sawing motion to cut anything.
