James Storm corrects TNA title history

James Storm tweeted the following after his match at TNA's Slammiversary pay-per-view:

Notice that Storm said that he is a 12 time World Tag Team Champion. This is accurate, as TNA incorrectly totals his wins at 14.

As a part of Beer Money (with Bobby Roode), Roode won the TNA Tag Team championship 4 times. But TNA incorrectly lists them as having won the titles 5 times, despite having no record of the fifth victory. They also claim that America's Most Wanted (with Chase Stevens) won the NWA Tag Team Championship 7 times, and not the actual 6 times.

Storm also held the NWA Tag Team Championship with Christopher Daniels. So his title wins with Daniels (1), Roode (4), Stevens (6) and Gunner (1) do indeed total 12 wins.

Storm also spent 2 weeks as the TNA World Heavyweight Champion in 2011.

I honestly do not understand why he is not competing for the WHC. He is a fan favourite and as all the qualities to be a champion.

It was because he was considered a flop, in addition to badly timed injuries.

But then again, they waited until after he lost the title to begin pushing him, and they weren't consistent with it.
