According to Dave Meltzer, WWE and Jericho had recently been in negotiations but something happened and talks fell through.
While there's still a chance of him returning due to the "never say never" motto, it seems unlikely that he will be back in the near future.
Shortly after this story came out, Jericho posted the following on Twitter:
"Taking off from Frankfurt to NYC, excited to get back to the States after an amazing tour!! See you next summer UK/Europe"[/quote]
