Hmmm. If it is about title runs, he does have a point. Punk's run as world heavyweight championship sucked when he was fueding wither Taker, and when he was the bland babyface during his WWE title run. But it's not, isn't it?

What Punk has done for the landscape of WWE has been one of the biggest and most influential changes in the last ten years.

Times really are changing, Cena is showing dents in his armor, the content is slightly more risky without being blatantly crude, and our champion has a vocabulary.

One reason I think Punk might hold onto it until Wrestlemania is simply because he's such a safe bet. He's drug free, he isn't married or has kids, and there's no way in hell anyone can bring dirt to the table on him for really anything, not Steroids, not spousal abuse, he's the perfect poster boy, right now.
