Latest Name Confirmed For WrestleMania

The WWE has officially announced that Stone Cold Steve Austin will be at WrestleMania.

As the WWE has taped all of their shows for this week, they cannot hold these announcements back for Raw or SmackDown. They will be looking to get the word out widely and quickly to promote WrestleMania XXX, which happens this weekend.

The WWE has reached out to a lot of major names to make appearances. There is no news on what Austin will be doing at 'Mania, but you can be certain that he will NOT be in a match. Austin signed the deal too close to the show to do a full medical in time.

Austin has also predicted that CM Punk will return at the show. He has no evidence or reports to back this up with. This is his own assumption that he has publicly said that he is sticking to.

Several other names have been rumoured, but none have been confirmed as yet. So far, only the Rock has publicly said that he will not be there due to work commitments, but many are expecting this to be a swerve. The same can also be said for Chris Jericho. There are conflicting reports that Mick Foley will be there, but there is nothing set for now.

ummm not to sound like a know it all or anything but Foley will be at the event, he said so on Jr's podcast....... he probably wont make an appearance tho..........

on the subject of who's appearing at the event, i think it's really good that Austin is showing up as he is one of the biggest stars in wrestling ever and it just makes sense him being there i hope he stuns a few people for nostalgia's sake...... as for the rock i kind of feel his a ass hole for not showing up like gees it's wrestlmania 30 , what was that line about never leaving..... sorry couldn't help it, i used to like the rock but ever since he came back 2 years ago he's really pissed me off......

The Rock isn't an asshole for having scheduling conflicts. It happens when you have a full-time job being one of the highest grossing celebrities on the planet.

I'm bummed he might not be there, either, but it doesn't make him an asshole for not ditching out on his other contractual obligations.

Champion Gamer, I knew about the Mick Foley podcast thing. But at this time, he is not (publically) scheduled to be on WrestleMania. So that is why I phrased that how I did.

To be honest, I think that there is a higher change of Foley being on the card than CM Punk. Heck, I wouldn't be surprised if Foley was in the Battle Royal.

Imagine CM Punk coming back with Stone Cold as his manager, I couldn't begin to comprehend how big the pop would be.
The likeliness is extremely low though.
