Los Matadores made their highly publicised debut on Raw.

They are the repackaged tag team of Los Colons, Eddie 'Primo' Colon and Orlando 'Epico' Colon. The cousins are now called Diego (Primo) and Fernando (Epico). They were given the new gimmick because their previous characters were considered "boring". They now have to play to the crowd more and add extra flair and grace to their moves.

They were accompanied by a masked luchadore called El Torito. Torito is dressed as a bull. It was hinted that he uses the Gore (running headbutt) as a finishing move, although he did not demonstrate this. Los Matadores defeated 3MB (Jinder Mahal and Heath Slater) in a tag team match. Their finishing move is the double Samoan Drop.

I found their entire concept very droll and awkward. Not to mention completely ripping on El Generico's "ole!" gag. It feels way over-produced, their double finisher move was neat though.

<blockquote class='quote\\_blockquote'><dl><dt>Quote:</dt><dd> </dd></dl><div>I was excited when they signed MD and I'm happy to see him being used. This gimmick is way different than anything else in mainstream American wrestling and I find it refreshing. Smarky "fans" are so willing to shit on anything that isn't a former ROH guy turning heel these days. Grow up. Peter Pan. Count Chocula. Enjoy the show. This is a new golden age for the WWE as far as having such a diverse and talented roster. Primo & Epico are getting exposure and Mascarita Dorada is on network tv every week. If you're bitching about that maybe its time to give up pro wrestling.[/quote]

I like the gimmick. It's over-the-top, out of this world, and makes me think of the 80's.

We don't need the next Hart Foundation, we just need some good ole entertainment.

CBV just summed it up for me. If you want decent tag team matches, we still have the Usos and the Real Americans active regularly. Los Matadores are gimmicky AND are a decent tag team. Not like Khali and Hornswoggle.

The Uso's are awesome. Definitely a tag team that always keeps me interested. Fantastic entrance, fantastic double team finisher (even if it's the Justin Credible & X-Pac one) and generally can play very well in the ring.
