I'll start with what I was doing before I joined OSR. For 7 years, I had been modding PES since PES4. I'm actually a moderator at PESEdit and PES Thailand forum under the name -RKO- but I haven't visited there since February as I quit the PES modding scene for three major reasons.
1. Lost of interest in PES modding.
2. Growing interest in SvR modding.
3. This one is the biggest reason, I really regret working for PESEdit owner, Pat (PATe.Arminia), he's the biggest douchebag I've ever known.
Then Stinger led me here with his mods at CAWs.ws, I was really impressed with how modable SvR actually is, then I decided to start modding SvR. My first mods were John Cena and Rey Mysterio, I was successful at making textures but then again, I've got some problems with alpha channel. 80las and WildForce67 were there to help me. I appreciate both of these guys' help and I want to once again say thank you, without you two, I won't be where I am today.
For the first 3 months in the Skool, I only visited my mod topic but as time passes by, I grew more and more attached to this place. I started visiting several sections here and I found out that this place is the friendliest forum I've ever been a part of. With all the caring from the staff and many members like, AKI Man, CBV, WildForce67, 80las, Blue Warrior and several others. They really make me want to visit this place more and more regularly every day. I surely am enjoying every moment at da Skool.
Surely, I've had some conflicts, most notably with mizter_blur when I criticized his mods which didn't reflect real life counterparts and with Jarniboi who I at first thought was a douchebag like PESEdit's Pat (they have some similarities, especially hating and going harsh on noobs) but then again, my problem with these two got solved quickly and we became friends.
Now I think I'm doing what WildForce67 and 80las did before me that is helping out new people modding their SVR. I admit sometimes I get annoyed with all the questions but the fact is noobs are everywhere and everyone was a noob at one point and I have the experience of helping people modding their PES so I can get through the annoyance quite easily and when I help people get their game the way they want, I just feel happy for them. That's why I'm always glad to help.
Exploring the Skool not only entertained me, It also helped me find out my new talent, specifically GFX. I've always wanted to give it a try but I was afraid it might not turn out the way I want, but then again, the supports this place has shown me really encouraged me and I came up with my first ever sig which was very simple and was not very good, but the positive reactions and suggestions/requests motivated me to come up with something better which I did. Now I can make as good GFX as I would like thanks to every single one of your support.
One more thing that I would like to say is about being the Skool Reporter. I saw how inactive the wrestling discussion section was and then I decided to shake things up with sharing the news that I read. I'm really happy with the result of that section being more and more active with more discussions going on than ever before. Again, thanks to all of you who showed interest in the topics I brought up.
Lastly, I would like to say thank you to every single one of you, the support this place has shown me has been endless. You have my most graceful gratitude.
