They keep doing or asking the same stupid shit over & over.[/quote]You are saying this like every new guy is the same person.
Only thing I'm saying is; that might be true, but most n00bs don't get much of a chance after making their first "mistake", they instantly get flamed much like it was (at least as I felt it at a time) at NMZ for example.
You can continue doing this if you want, I don't care, just stating the fact and that I personally don't like that attitude.
Also when we get the same questions over and over we could start asking ourselves, is the information here not structured/advertised in an optimal way perhaps?
Are there reasons for most n00bs not finding/reading the rules page?
Are there reasons why the most important tutorials aren't found by them?
Are there reasons why they post things in the wrong sections?
It could be language problems...
Could be that e restructure would solve some of the problems...
Could be that pinning a multitude of topics is not such a good idea, perhaps only pinning the "MUST READ" topics would be better - one could be just a link to the rules from every section of the forum?
Put the "Skool rules" link at the top left corner, make it bold text perhaps name it "Rules of this forum (MUST READ)" instead or something.
I don't know, those are just some thoughts...
It can't only be that they're idiots (at least I hope so).
I did not say that people never get a chance to "come back", however there are very critical eyes pointed at the new guys from the start from some people. It's a little like "guilty until proven wrong" sometimes.
And I do agree that the new guys posting like they're 5 years old do annoy me. It's just the attitude they get in return that bothers me.
However, I leave this now, this topic is about a mod, not n00b-problems of this forum.
