Need help getting Rice Plugin to Work with Project 64

Does anyone know how to get Rice Plugin to work with Project 64? I've tried it before when playing WWF No Mercy but it either crashes or freezes when the game starts up. Or when starting up the match. What should the settings be for it to work properly. Or the best version of Rice Plugin?
