Interesting! Always been a fan of Devitt, so hopefully he gets a proper chance to shine. I know that's sometimes too much to ask for with TNA, but I'll still check it out and hope that they do him right. :yes:

I really hope they use him right. I remember when Tanahashi went to TNA in 2005. The considered it a dream match when AJ Styles wrestled him. I felt a tad let down as they booked Tanahashi like a jobber to AJ. Still, I hope TNA use Devitt well as I huge mark of him.

Exactly! The way they used Tanahashi was quite a bit disappointing, and it's a shame his match with Roderick Strong on the first tour was relegated to Explosion and not given more time!
I attended a TNA house show in 2008(?) here in California, showed up just barely in time for the opening match, I was still looking for my seat when I heard the ring announcer announce Hiroshi Tanahashi. Of course, I was thrilled at the sheer surprise of getting to see Tanahashi, but then I thought, man, here we have one of the biggest stars in Japan and he wasn't even announced on any sort of local adverts or on the TNA website itself, and is wrestling on some random X-Division 3-way match that was eventually won by Sonjay Dutt (!).
