I don't feel singled out by you, just disagree that I'm an asshole. I also never had an issue with you that I remember at NMZ. I do, however, feel slightly annoyed and singled out that I'm somehow subject to posting restrictions because other people called me an asshole, but hey.

I came here to see how people were reacting to NMZ's sudden disappearance and I know we never had a wonderful, squeaky-clean reputation, but it was mostly misplaced. There's a reason that NMZ was the best and longest-lasting No Mercy board around for almost a decade. It's a niche, sure, but plenty of sites came and went, and NMZ hung around. I know the end was lean, but it took years and years to die down.

We had fun, I made real, genuine friends through NMZ, which isn't something that I find happens all that often online. People who were intelligent, funny, talented, and thoughtful found a place to spend time. So you can call me an asshole, apparently free of consequence, and I'll keep replying until I get bored, but it's really just a matter of perception. Maybe don't take everything so goddamn seriously all the time.

I honestly have no opinion on KKD as I never had any qualms or issue with him. In all honesty I do not remember getting feedback from him on my work ( I could be wrong), but remember praising his modding work, especially his Puro mods, which in my opinion was some of the best work I have seen on the NM game with the likes of Saiko, nWo Mark, DSTD, Jcsix, Icco, FTW_Jme and Loco.

Slim is a guy I have huge respect for. He is someone who produces amazing arena mods and is a helpful guy to anyone new or old. I missed whatever happened with Slim and NMZ before 2010 as that is when I joined the forum, so I can only base a opinion on him after that year.

I really do not know what I am rambling about, but I rather no heated debate about this via this topic as its rather pointless and achieves nothing.

It's not that NMZ wasn't nice to people who were "noobs," NMZ wasn't nice to people who were leeches and did nothing but request, post in the wrong section numerous times, bump topics that were literally years old and especially people stealing other modders work then presenting it at NMZ or other places claiming it was their own. Then, the people who got banned joined other places like this and said NMZ is bad and full of assholes when in fact they did it to themselves honestly. That is by no means a knock on anyone here though. WldFb is the real fucking asshole, what a son of a bitch.

El Guapo's first post at NMZ was an eight sided ring hack he came up with his first week of discovering No Mercy modding, something no one does. Ever.

Monarch flamed him to no end for being a noob and "raping" the topic. That's the sole reason why he came to OSR in the first place. If that isn't noob bashing for the sake of douche-baggery, I don't know what is. El Guapo is EASILY the best all-around hacker/texture modder to come down the pike in the last 5 years. Great job. He didn't break rules, make dumb requests or anything, he showed up with a fucking ARENA HACK YOU STILL COULDN'T DO ON YOUR BEST DAY and you flamed him. Classy.

Reputations are earned, like it or not. That's the last I'm gonna say on this. No Mercy fucking rules.

Besides, one poster =/= an entire forum. I don't remember that particular topic/series of posts at all, but even if Monarch was "noob bashing for the sake of douchebaggery", I wouldn't say the NMZ as a whole was an insular community. No matter where you go online, you're going to find people you don't agree with/dislike/consider an asshole, and if you decide to let them ruin your experience rather than ignoring them, well, that's your choice.
