noob question...

hey fellas. i have been playing no mercy mods for a couple years now, and i finally decided to attempt modding. after much failure, i had a small success. i updated king kanyon's suicide (erased all "suicide" text, and filled in the colors). the color wasn't an exact match, but it looks good, and i learned photoshop a little bit.

my question...when trying to say, (in photoshop) put a design over a shirt template, or import a reference pic over a dumped face, how do i get the size of the reference pic to match the original? whenever i try, i end up with a large dumped texture, and whatever i try to layer in is tiny. what am i missing?

In the edit menu you can manipulate the size of the layer.

thanks. ok, i did that. both images are 32 x 64 pixels. now, i can't duplicate either layer. any insight?

Right click in your layer menu.

Also, google has tons of free tutorials.

i'm not that much of a noob. i right clicked, and all options are whited out. also, i've been googling this for at least a year, and i have plenty of guides bookmarked for when i get to that point, but i seem to get stuck every step of the way. i really appreciate your help.
