The fates of 2 former TNA World Heavyweight Champions have been confirmed.
TNA announced on their website and on social media that James Storm has signed a new deal. Storm has been in the company since their very first year. Many longer term guys have left because they were unhappy with the paycuts that they were being asked to take. Apparently, TNA have reached an agreement with Storm. He has NOT signed a new contract, but he is due to do so on Monday. The only thing that is certain is that they have reached an agreement.
On a similar note, Chris Sabin is done. Sabin's contract expired without both sides reaching a deal. Sabin was offered a pay rise, however, he did not think it was enough considering how many more dates he was being asked to work. Sabin was so sure that TNA would not make a suitable offer that he had already been accepting bookings on the independent ciruit for once his contract did expire. Sabin was used at the recent tapings, so will still feature on TNA programming for a while.
