The fates of 2 former TNA World Heavyweight Champions have been confirmed.

TNA announced on their website and on social media that James Storm has signed a new deal. Storm has been in the company since their very first year. Many longer term guys have left because they were unhappy with the paycuts that they were being asked to take. Apparently, TNA have reached an agreement with Storm. He has NOT signed a new contract, but he is due to do so on Monday. The only thing that is certain is that they have reached an agreement.

On a similar note, Chris Sabin is done. Sabin's contract expired without both sides reaching a deal. Sabin was offered a pay rise, however, he did not think it was enough considering how many more dates he was being asked to work. Sabin was so sure that TNA would not make a suitable offer that he had already been accepting bookings on the independent ciruit for once his contract did expire. Sabin was used at the recent tapings, so will still feature on TNA programming for a while.

TNA keeps losing all these guys that made me watch them in the first place. It saddens me.

It just seems like 2010 they've been steadily drowning. I miss the old 6-sided ring days.

Don't worry. Jeff's new promotion willing be interesting in Sabin. He has been talent scouting recently. TNA have seriously lost alot of talent that made that company. Very sad.

I've actually found myself excited for Jarrett's new promotion. I do hope they get a better logo design, though, it just looks so outdated.

It's interesting to think about what could happen. It just feels so weird that Jarrett is gone from TNA. People can say what they want about they guy, but I think the product really was better when he was around.

Agreed. Hell even when Russo was there it was better. I am following GFW on twitter and Facebook. I am going to give them a chance. It seems Jeff is focused on giving a promotion for the fans, so let's see.

I agree about the logo. It looks outdated and very old school.

I'm hoping "Global" translate to "Global". I would love to have a true international promotion. One that tours everywhere.

It would make "World Champion" mean a champion that defends it around the freaking world, again!

TNA is seriously making me lose interest in them. Hell, the time when MEM and World Elite was around it was so much better.
