Quote:

Steve Austin offered a critical assessment of Randy Orton's character performance during an interview for the latest issue of Power Slam magazine.

When asked to name which wrestlers he believes can evolve into "money-drawing players" for WWE, Austin said of The Viper, "His promos need work, and right now, he's a little one-dimensional. The crowds are digging him, but there's still another step on the ladder for him to climb to."

Orton responded to Austin's remarks this evening on Twitter.

He wrote, "Austin is right, there is still room for me to move up the ladder. And I will. Watch me."[/quote]

Orton is still young. He has enough time to improve his character.
agree but he shouldn't be 9 time champion then. When you have won so many world titles you have to be a total package which Orton definitely isn't.

This "Viper" gimmick is trite, and honestly boring. He's been having the same match for years, just like Cena.

Orton is an over-rated twat.

IMO Orton has not evolved as a character as he should have..

I much prefered his evolution days where he would get experience from the likes of Flair and HHH, and his promos were far more entertaining than they are now.

He has not really progressed as a character, and still the same "Boring" Orton.. He in-ring work has always been one-dimensional also..

However!! He is a decent success story for the WWE..
