My buddy Ben found these in a dumpster today, they were too big for him. They are running shoes, so the sides are ventilated, thus, making them impractical for winter...... but fuck it, I wear 'em anyway! I HAVE NEW SHOES!!!!!!!! :B-)

Yeah, I guess it DOES sound funny, but in Missoula, you would be surprised the shit that college kids throw out. I've found functional computers, tons of working tv's, beds, furniture, you name it. These kids throw everything away at the end of the semester, just to come back again and get more new stuff. It is almost disgusting.

Exactly. What's really funny is that most of the college kids here fancy themselves as "activists", changing the world one facebook post at a time. I've seen kids who's parents BUY THEM A HOUSE for their college years, and don't appreciate squat.

The tread on these shoes are fine, the inside sole are MOUNTAINS more comfortable than my duct-tape specials, the only downside is, as you can see, since they are running shoes and made for exercise, the outside of the shoes are ventilated, i.e., snow and wind get into the mutha fuckas like a boss. I don't know how the weather is for you guys, but the weather here is still cold as hell. Check out the temp at Missoula MT, it's pretty nice, actually. -8.889 degrees C!

Dude, this is the time of year when it starts to warm up. December and January are terrible. I've been in -40 degree weather regularly since a boy. I'm used to it, unfortunately. I honestly want just one year where the months of September-April do not try to give me pneumonia.

Because I could tell you about love between a man and his favorite chair, a man and his stable of horses, or his beard, but between a man and a woman, I'm... not so sure. My knowledge of such is very limited, just ask my wife. Often, I'll see a woman that grabs my attention, in a way that part of me wants to take her out, wine her and dine her, tell her how much I appreciate the way she moves, but another part of me wants to watch her take her shoes off and brush her hair. You know what I love? The smell of an old car. Most people, the kids, they like the smell of new cars. Not me, to me they smell too sterile, too innocent. I like that old, musky smell of dirty plastic seats and salty cigar smoke. Give me an old car paired with a light helping of chicken fingers and now we're talkin'. The only thing is, chicken fingers and old car smells can't love you back the way a woman can. Trust me, I tried to make it work. Love is educational. You learn alot about yourself through it - like, you learn that you should only love one woman at a time, and that you shouldn't say "now that's the spirit!" when your woman says "I love you". I learned that the hard way. But that's how I learn most things, the hard way. Shit, you don't want to hear me talk about this stuff, at somepoint you gotta look at your own scoreboard and not everyone else's.

I was there when Kurt Killed himself, I was a budding music fan, and I just don't make that big of a deal, anymore.

I get pissed when I see what Courtney has done to his legacy, though. There should NEVER be a Nirvana "Rock Band" package, his personal journals should have NEVER been published.

However, it is pointless to still feel bad about something 9 out of 10 members here were too young to even realize what was happening.

And little Justin should follow in his footsteps. :B-)
