Phoenix/Natalya Want Tag Team Titles

The February 2012 issue of WWE Magazine features an interview with Beth Phoenix and Natalya and they are asked how far they are willing to go to see the Women's Tag Team Championship brought back.

"I would absolutely do anything within my power," Beth says. "I think we have enough Divas for a tag team division, and with the Divas Title currently being held on Raw, SmackDown is left without something to fight for. So tag titles would be amazing."

Natalya adds, "And Beth and I are the perfect representatives to be the first-ever Divas Tag Team Champions. I'd love to see that happen. There are so many Diva tag team matches that it would be ideal."

Personally I like the tag titles for the TNA Knockouts, so why not in WWE? The worst that could happen is it might lend a little more credibility and make people think they actually take the Diva division seriously.

They say a person's reach should exceed their grasp, (a.k.a. dream big), so why not ask for the stars even though you're only likely to get the moon. I don't know for sure, but I suspect the real motive behind all these requests is an underlying desire to be taken seriously. Nothing wrong with wanting that, only trouble being, they might be in the wrong place for it. As in, two lonely wrestlers surrounded by a sea of models.

Well you have reason my man but i really don't want to see a ladder match from divas, there are only some wrestlers and much models. The tag team division could be fine for me u have The Bellas, Divas Of Doom, Eve & Kelly, Alicia & Tamina and why not LayCool in a future? k

I'm not overly sold on the ladder match myself...

Maybe I'm old fashioned or chauvinistic or what have you, but I'm not sure I'm ready to see one of them get hurt for real. Just in case of an accident I mean...

As for Laycool, just do it, come on back Michelle!
