"Plan B" for WrestleMania?

Vince McMahon has allegedly signed off on a more realistic plan for WrestleMania XXX.

McMahon had been trying to build the show around several stars that have yet to agree to anything. McMahon has been insistent with the board of directors and writers that his original match list is set in stone, despite key people disagreeing to his plans. McMahon had been telling writers to build towards his plans for the event. But now they are doing more realistic story lines to suit a more probable WM.

The current plans can be cut short if McMahon manages to make the deals he needs.

As heavily reported, he wants the main event to be Team McMahon vs Team McMahon for control of the company. Triple H will represent Stephanie, while a returning legend would represent Vince. But the board of directors have repeatedly nixed the match and it will not be the main event. However, a WWE Champion vs World Heavyweight Champion main event is likely.

McMahon has also confirmed Brock Lesnar vs Undertaker. But Undertaker refuses to do the match. Right now, Ryback is a likely opponent for either man.

Speaking of Ryback, Vince is convinced that he can still get the Goldberg vs Ryback match to happen. But Goldberg is not even open to negotiations. He was offended by both McMahon and Ryback building towards the feud before an agreement had been made.

McMahon has been trying to negotiate deals with Michelle McCool, Trish Stratus and The Rock, but all 3 are very unlikely. Like Goldberg, they will not be added to WM plans unless they sign contracts.

So, who will be this supposed "Legend" in Vince's corner? The Rock? If that's the case I can understand the logic. Both HHH and Rock have history and personally do not like each other, so it would be a good move.

Undertaker vs Brock. Again, I can see the logic with this. There stare down when Brock was in the UFC. They have some sort of issue with each other that neither have come out about, and I remember Undertaker saying in a interview Brock would set out to injure the him if they wrestled, so I see why Taker is sceptical.

Ryback vs Goldberg. Now, that would be cool. I see the logic in that too for obvious reasons.

So WWE Champion vs World Heavyweight Champion. Who is it going to be? If its going to be this way, what will happen to the Royal Rumble winner? Is he not expected to get his shot at WM? Man, I am confused.
