Poll - AKI-style image size

Hello AKI-style modders,

I am trying to dust off the cobwebs and jump back in to texture modding. I personally prefer working with AKI-styled mods. That being said, I am curious to know if those of you who work in this style increase your dumped images by 4x (pretty standard for Hi-Res mods, from what I remember), or do you leave the file size as it is, to get a crunchier look. Or something entirely different?

I have done both, but when I enlarge the images it always feels a bit too hi-res. I am curious to see what others think.
