So I've been playing around in the memory editor a little more in different areas. Turns out you can actually duplicate the wrestler name poly (?) - however it's superstar specific, which means it has different addresses for different names so I'm trying to back-track the id's and see if I can access a global version of this secondary bar - this area also allows you to stretch the bar at complicate angles too which is neat.

Nice work, I've been playing around with these in the past month. The whole locker room scene stuff that's in the main menu actually works exactly the same as an arena, except there are some movement map rotations that need correcting, otherwise poly point hacking gets confusing. You can move pretty much anything around, but the only things I haven't found yet are the poly point addresses for the VS. portrait graphics (not the actual portrait, but all the other graphics around it).

Keep up the good work, I'm interested to see where you go with these!

It's all good dude - whatever makes No Mercy even more editable, I'm game for. Heck with those values, if you weren't too bothered about certain objects, you could stretch it and do a one texture background

Brilliant work, man. The in-match graphics use these same kind of movement/stretch addies-- I didn't figure the VS stuff would also use these, given that the portraits and some of the other menu graphics use the other kind of polygon point addresses (the same as used for weapons and arena items). I figure the graphic data must be somewhere in that area, but I don't think I'll need it-- this should work just fine. Thanks for finding these!

I haven't had chance to experiment further yet. If I get chance, I'll experiment - it would just involve grabbing of the most z-ordered object and stretching it. There is an address I work from, so I might have a scout around.

Id be interested in what you could do with the vs screens also, a mod doesnt feel complete without them.

A note concerning moving the portraits in the select screen (as seen in the first post).

Take any addy: 802BE810

And change the second number to '1': 812BE810

This let's you have more precise control of where you move the portrait, I also ran into a problem moving the portraits to the right, they can only be moved to about halfway across the screen, and then stop about halfway on top of the wrestler preview, however, this was before I started using precise movement, I'll update if it works and allows movement across the entire screen.

update: It doesn't.

I've been playing with these for a little bit, and I'm hoping to get Meh. back on this because I'm having a blast coming up with a new UI.
