Good news...

I am, if you guys are ok with this, back on with this save. I was really gutted to loose all my wrestlers I hacked, but now I fully understand making attire specific hacks and editing mask colours/attires, I feel a sense of ambition and determination to help on this save.

Now, I know I will need to do some catching up, but I would like to atleast help make some of the wrestlers for the save.

Govo's bro, I know you made El Generico and it looked awesome, but I would love it, if I could hack him and take it from there?

I am still focused on the Group War save, but would like to help where I can with this. Is that ok?

Also, I would like to know what additional wrestlers are going to be in this.

Excellent additional roster bro. Yeah, I will use the CAW slots.

Ok, this is how you change the mask colours:-

So when you go to Smackdown Mall and choose a wrestler. Select bandana 2 for example and choose red colour. Open memory and you will see this.

Now the top one is the values for black bandana. You need only the first 2 line of codes.

Now, remove the bandana and select undertakers mask. The values for that is in the image below the bandana values.

Now all you need to do is the bandana values from the first 2 lines IE 0000 39CF 318D and overlap them on to Takers mask values in the correct order. You will see the mask change each time you update a value and you will get this:-

Now, you need to make a specific code for it to work in-match/menu etc. That part I am still trying to figure out as you need to add depending on what it is.

I will start with El Generico and then do the Puro stable on CAW slots bro. Also, Jazz bro, looking forward to seeing those other arenas for this project. Lets do this peeps.

Yeah, I have just tested using Bandana 2 and Scotty Hat and using bandana 2 (Red) makes his mask go red, but not fully red. I think the method is trial and error in all honesty. You need to fiddle around with the first two lines. When I made the Black mask I did it based on order and it came up perfect. This however does not. Maybe trying another piece of attire will work.

Yep, WldFb told me the same, but i don't know what attire will work, the only method that works perfectly it's rom hacking i think

Yeah bro, this is the catch. I will try a few other methods and let you know if I find anything. I am going to do some work on the Group War save tonight and then tommorrow will work on this save bro.

Ok, I haves tested the red bandana on face texture and it works perfect. Now the 2nd line first first 8 values seem to control the face detail underneath the facepaint. Before replacing those lines the face was red but the face had no detail. A tip bro. Ignore the 1st line, first 4 values 00 00 C7 A8. Replace them, but do not use the values from them (IE Bandana) as they do not have actions. I doubled two values like WldFb did with his green face 0C4D0BCD 0C4D0BCD. They must be put in order tough as they were shown.

Ok I have managed to configure Undertaker's mask to red. Now, the numeric values seem to control the outline/detail of Undertakers mask in the second row. Adding addies with letters has little effect, so I used these values 4X in the second line 5909 4909 and that seemed to do the trick Govos bro.

Again, each Mask/Face may be different as some work with imputing the values in order, while others you need to mix around.

Ok this works. The code previously was for the face lol. This works in SD Mall. I just need to convert it for In-Match/Menus now bro.

The mask values bro, do not go up to 30. It starts 90 and ends A0. So once you end 9E it goes in A0, A2, and so on.

Awesome stuff guys!! If I wasn't so booked up with stuff to do, I'd love to take a look into attire hacking. Man, I wish I didn't have to work and could hack all day, there's so many awesome things to do with this game still! ^o) I've not even touched move hacking yet!
And then there's VPW2 that's mostly been left untouched (ironically, I play that game a whole lot more than NM). I messed around with some VPW2 arena stuff this weekend so I'll release some codes soon: Ringposts touch the floor, stretch ringmats [the code I found on NMZ is glitchy, needs better activators and didn't work in entrances], NJPW turnbuckle pads, and the button activated arena swap I developed for No Mercy so you can have either AJPW, NJPW, or FMW ringmat & aprons.

Govos, I'll get that Danielson beard done sometime this week, and I'll add the RAW arena code to the .cht file you provided as well (I just need to add the activators), if I have time I'll try making another arena too. :)

I love VPW2 bro. I actually prefer it over NM. Just the downside to it, is the complete contrast in what you can do in NM and what you can do in VPW2. I mean, attire hacking VPW2 would be immense and WldFb has already provided a guide in attire hacking, but compared to NM, its slightly more complex and seems less rewarding.

Sounds awesome with the all the things you are doing bro. I know what its like with getting free time these days. I struggle myself and wish I could do more hacking, but having a family really takes up most of my time, thought thats no bad thing of course.

After hearing the news about NOAH. I decided I will be making a seperate NOAH save. Dedicated to the company that provided so many great memories for me, and Kenta Kobashi who is one of my all time fav wrestlers.

Dont get me wrong though, I will still help with some wrestlers for this save Govos bro, and will do El Genrico and anyone else you want me to do. Also, as I am pretty confident with changing mask colours now, if you want a particular mask Govos bro, let me know and I will make the code for you.

Jazz, I know you are swamped with tons of projects atm, but would you help me with making a NOAH arena, and some sort of outdoor, broken down Puro themed arena? Only when you can fit it in of course.

@AKI: Definitely, NM is easier to work with because there is already a vast amount of resources available, and move replacements are a lot more complicated in NM.

Oh for sure! :) Family time is more important, when it comes down to that! But yeah, some extra time would be nice. The hardest thing for me is not being able to help more people, I saw Victor and dbs64 request help with arena hacking, and Guapo asked me for some stuff and I wish I could help but I've got too many things going on to take on any more requests.
I'll just try to get as much done and most of all try to finish a few hacking guides, since I'll probably take an extended hiatus at some point next year (probably the summer). I've been extremely burned out with my job and kinda frustrated in general with my current life here, so I've been plotting a grand escape. Life's too short, so might as well take chances and go for broke! I'll most likely be off on a journey to China and then possibly travel around for a few months, since I have a few friends in Southeast Asia that I wouldn't mind visiting. Might stay long term if I find any decent work opportunities. So, I'll probably be inactive for an extended period of time, so I'll just try to pass on as much hacking knowledge I've acquired over the past year to anyone that's interested in learning, and hopefully my VPW save and my contributions towards the HTHD save will have been completed (as well as PWUSA64, Community Project, WWF Legends, NOAH save contributions, of course).

By the way, thanks for all your kind words you've written about me, in that CM thread and somewhere else I saw you complimenting my work and getting my name out there. Hell, you even got CM to (sort of) compliment my work ^o)
I appreciate it! :toast: If not for your hospitality and friendship, I might have never been an active member of the community, never even thought about trying to learn how to hack. OSR was much more approachable than NMZ and you where a friend even before I created my first mod or put together my first code, so I am very appreciative.

Haha, sorry for turning the thread into such a huge wall of text mostly dealing with personal stuff. But, back to business, doing a NOAH save sounds awesome, and I'm happy to help. Is it AKI style, hi-res, or hacked? I'm almost done with Korakuen Hall, it would only take a few coding modifications to turn it into the Differ Ariake arena (I was actually considering adding that to my save as DLC anyhow); and the outdoor arena is pretty simple to make. You'll also need another arena with regular crowd/stage and the Tokyo Dome ramp (which would give me a chance to experiment with a few ideas I have for my own Tokyo Dome arena).
