I used the Roster Tool and got my offset. However, I don't understand how to change the moves. I only see the the music part and whatever the other two things are. Do I need to use another tool with the Roster tool to change the moves?

Also would like to know if once I change these moves how to make them stay in game. So far from what I've read it seems like the tool needs to be ran each time you start the game. But I did read something about having cheat code moves on then the cheatengine makes them stick.

Just go to smackdown mall and change like a CAW.

Ok, I did it. I did read about not going through the menus quickly. Something about doing it slower so the program loads.

Now, How do I make the move changes permanent? Do I always have to run the tool or will the moves save to the game somehow.

Thanks very much for the help.

You'll need to open to program everytime you want the changed movesets

A little disappointed about the not saving issue. Another big reason for wanting to use it was some male wrestlers in mods have female fighting style. Which results in them standing & moving like females. IDK if I was unlucky enough to not get a perfect .fla or .pj save, this was overlooked, or some slots have to be for females.

My question is - Would I have to mod or reprogram this myself or is there an easy way around this?

Yeah, either turn on the roster tool every time for your modified move-sets (which I used to do a lot, it isn't that much of a hassle), or use the move-set replacement tool. That way you can not worry about having to reset the offset every now and again.

I'd like to be able to use the Moveset Editor. This looks like a better way to go because it permanetly changes the moves I assume. I can't figure out how to use it though. All I see is columns of numbers and names with no clue what to do.

I did saw two instruction examples by WldFb on his site. I'm not sure what he's saying - I need it broken down more. I don't know where he's getting a moveset for a certain wrestler to begin with. I don't see where he even finds the value in his example for Bull Buchan.

"If you look at the Openoffice tool in the Addresses sheet, Bull Buchanan is here:
Style | Moveset
291EC0 | 291EE0"

It should come with all the default wrestlers codes.

Put the default move-set in the left column, and hit the "read" button (make sure macros are enabled), then just edit the move-set to your liking. When you are done, hit the "write" button. Two codes will be generated, a long and short. Use either.

That's it.
