I just downloaded InVasion and I'm a little lazy so I got Showdown 64 so I didn't have to install 64. But it isn't loading the textures I guess because it's showing the mudlord textures but not the hires textures you feel me? I turned load hires textures on but it still isn't working. pleH?

You have to go into your directories, and change the texture directory, from the saves folder to the textures folder

Showdown doesn't work with the Mudlord plugin. It uses the Jabo plugin.

The folder inside the texture folder is WWF No Mercy right?

The Showdown textures go in a folder named Textures. That folder should appear right after you click on pj64 2.0.

I had a problem with directories myself when I tried to set it up. This is what mine look like. Make sure everything is the same as mine other than the drive which is "E" for me but may be different for you. Other than that the Project64 2.1\Plugin\ ... \Save\ ... \Save\ ... \Screenshots\ ... \textures\ should look the same. I have 2.1 if you have 2.0 you probably need to change the 2.1 in my screenshot to 2.0.

Keson in his Showdown thread has a link that shows his emulator settings in his first post. Copy those.

WAIT A SEC. I'm confused by your 1st post. Showdown 64 only works in pj64 2.0, 2.1 maybe 1.7. IT DOESN't work in 1.6

Invasion ONLY WORKS in 1.6. The textures file names are different and not compatible. If you re-dumped and re-named all the textures you could play it.

He's trying to use Invasion, guys. That doesn't work with 2.1. He needs a 1.6 tutorial. I'm off to work so I can't.

PJ64 1.6 is different. This is where you need to put the Invasion mod.

Project64 1.6 --- plugin --- hires_texture --- WWF No Mercy

You may need to create a "hires_texture" folder without the quotes. Make a WWF No Mercy folder also if one is not included with the mod. Don't need a "texture_dump" folder but create one if you ever want to dump textures.

Use the mudlord plugin or the textures won't show up. Be sure to also check the "load hires textures if available "box. Get to it by starting 1.6 click on Options (at the top of pj64) go to configure graphics plugin (then you'll have different tabs) click on Texture Enhancement finally you'll see Load hires textures if available (check that box).
