Project64 2.1 Settings for Vanilla Wrestling Games Help!

Hey guys,

I was wondering what emulator settings you guys use for the vanilla wrestling games for Project64 2.1 as whenever I try to use a mod settings like use Showdowns settings for vanilla WWF No Mercy the game runs way too fast!!!

Also, have you guys ever gotten the older AKI games to run such as Revenge, World Tour, WM2000 and VPW64 to run on Project64 2.1 it always gives me an black screen, yet I can heard the music in the background!!

For Revenge on 2.1 I believe you have to go to graphic oncfiguration and in the rom settings section change it to "only per frame" or "at first CI change", one of these two should do it.

Try pressing the - button, it should slow the game down. It's to do with the frame limit.

For WCW/NWO Revenge, i remember i had a lot of pain to make it running correctly, until i tried with good old Mudlord/Rice 6.1.4 as it looks like it's not working good with default 2.1 plugin (the Jabo one if i remember well)

The mudlord/rice settings i use for WCW/NWO Revenge :

I have not played with WCW World tour since a lvery long time and don't have the rom anymore, no idea what's works best there, i remember i used to select the Glide64 plugin for this one, but i don't remember why i prefered it over the other plugin, maybe it had to do with the colors being wrongly "washed" with the other plugins in comparison to the real game.

For WWF No Mercy, i use the default video plugin that comes with p64 2.1 , the Jabo 1.7 rev5 plugin , playing on 640x480 windowed as i like.

Cool thanks!! Is the settings for Revenge the same for WM2000 and VPW2 for Project64 2.1 or no??

And I'm guessing you can't setup one emulator to have all the different plugin settings for each game like you need to separate them or no??

Sorry if I'm being a pain guys just want to get this setup perfectly!!

I don't have WM2000 so no idea for the settings, but for VPW2 i use the same setting as No Mercy (jabo) , it's only for Revenge that i had to use Mudlord/Rice.

For different plugin selection for different game, just in the rom list right click on a game -> Edit Game Settings -> Plugin and assign a specific plugin to that game if you don't want it to use the one you had setup by default.
