Actor Minoru Tanaka, known to most tokusatsu fans as Captain Shingo Sakomizu of Ultraman Mebius's GUYS Japan, had passed away yesterday, April 25. According to reports, he committed suicide.
According to police reports, Minoru Tanaka's family found him hanging on their apartment home in Tokyo and immediately dialed 119. He was taken to the hospital but pronounced dead on arrival.
Born in October 27, 1966, Minoru Tanaka had starred in various dramas and movies. He was last seen in Kamen Rider W RETURNS: Kamen Rider Accel as the police officer Hiroshi Sagami.
I am a huge Toku fan & this is very sad day & a huge loss for the fandom.
