William Regal has become more active on Twitter recently. This time, he is feuding with Chris Jericho and commented on the recent 'Top 50 WCW Stars' list on WWE.com.
Regarding the list, Regal would only say: "Whoever put together the top 50 WCW superstars on WWE.com needs a kick up the selection box."
Despite being asked outright by followers, Regal did not explain his comments. Regal himself placed at #35, but he has not commented on this.
Just prior to his WWE return this year, Chris Jericho ripped on CM Punk, The Miz and Sin Cara over Twitter for stealing his moves and parts of his gimmick. This would become the center point of his recent feud with Punk.
Recently, Regal turned the tables by accusing Jericho of stealing from him.
Regal commented to Jericho that Jericho did not have any more moves that he could steal from Regal. Jericho retorted that this was because Regal had not done anything new in the last 10 years. Regal sarcastically replied that he had "selfishly" been working on helping younger talent, and not demanded major attention for his work.
A fan would then ask who would win a technical wrestling match between the pair: Regal or Jericho. Regal joked: "Someone would have to teach him a proper hold before he could enter."
Jericho responded: "Is this the guy who used to be on Raw 5 years ago? Not sure I remember who you are..."
Regal once again ended the back and forth: "You know,I'm the one who copied you and wore a 3 piece suit and talked intelligently and menacing."
