"Roddy" Roddy Piper and Kevin Nash have had yet another row over Twitter this weekend.
There are 3 reasons for the latest argument starting, and both of them concern comments that Piper made in his latest podcast.
The first reason is because Piper made an insulting remark towards one of this year's Hall Of Fame inductees. Piper admitted that he stood up and applauded after Mr. T took to the stage, despite the animostiy between them. However, he said that he refused to stand for one of the other entrants because he felt it was hypocritical. It is not likely that he was referring to Paul Bearer, Lita or Carlos Colon. He has had bad history with Ultimate Warrior, Jake "The Snake" Roberts and Razor Ramon (Scott Hall). While Piper did not say which one he was referring to, it is persumed that he was referring to Hall.
The other reasons were because Piper brought up incidents between Nash and himself in WCW. He claimed that Nash's group were trying to run "roughshot" over WCW since they joined the company, believing that they knew how to run it better than the management did. Piper had teamed with Nash in a tag team match that went badly. Piper blamed it on Nash's inability to work properly in the ring.
Piper immediatly brought up another incident. Here is his version of events:
<blockquote class='quote\\_blockquote'><dl><dt>Piper's version</dt><dd> </dd></dl><div>
Piper was talking to Eric Bischoff and Ric Flair when Kevin Nash burst in, shouting at Piper. Piper leg dived him and threw him out of the lockerroom. While Nash was being pulled away by others, he threatened to get Nash at the next show. However, another employee told Piper that Nash said he didn't want to fight Piper. After that, Nash then made allegations that Piper intentionally attacked his injured knee. Piper did not know about the injury, but if he did, he probably would have targeted it on purpose.

Nash remembered the incident ending differently, claiming that Piper was "bitch slapped" to the floor. He added that Hulk Hogan, Syxx and Scott Hall were also there. He acknowledged that Bischoff was there too, but not Flair.
Nash dared Piper to invite him onto his podcast to talk it out, and Piper publicly accepted the dare. Nash also publically asked Piper to ask any of the others who there to remind him of what really happened. Nash ended the argument by claiming that Piper rang him and they discussed the incident over the phone. He admitted that both men remembered it very differently. There was no confirmation on whether or not Nash will appear on Piper's podcast in the future. However, a friend of Piper's said that he was left upset by the whole ordeal.
Sean Waltman, who worked as Syxx at the time, also weighed in. Again, his version was different too.

Nash burst into the room and complained about a spot that Piper changed in the ring. It had resulted in Nash getting injured, although Waltman did not hear much of the conversation. Flair's bodyguard tried to seperate both Nash and Piper, and Piper backed away. Nash slapped Piper, but then Piper went for his leg. He did manage to take Nash down, but the fight was broken up.

Nash's leg injury would become a running joke. Nash would take a lot of time off to recover from the quad tear. It got to the point where people had no idea if he was faking it, or was genuinely hurt again. When Nash returned to the WWE in 2002, he tour his quad during training before he even had one match. He then required time off to rest up. In his first match back, he tore his quad within seconds of stepping into the ring.
Recently, Nash finally found a sense of humour about the whole thing. Having been made housebound with a really bad flu, Nash joked on Twitter that he sneezed so hard that he thought he tore his quad.
