Ryback Debut

Ryan Reeves made his debut in WWE again. Reeves started long ago in NXT as the Skip Sheffield, but after an injury which kept him a very long time without wrestling. Reeves had to undergo three surgeries on injured ankle before he can come back in the ring.

When he was ready to return, WWE dropped the character Skipp Sheffield and gave the name Ryback. Ryback's the gimmick was used in OVW and FCW before entering the NXT.

Ryback debuts this week on Smackdown.We don't know if he's heel of face, but he received a very positive reaction from fans.

Well,he looks like Goldberg.
But anyway,i hope that WWE put him in a good feud,not to squash any superstar without a reason(just like brodus clay).

I agree. We get it, he's strong and looks at the camera like Goldberg. I get it, though, most of the big guys are getting there in age, and they are going to need the new generation of monsters.

The biggest problem with this one is his lack of character. This is where a great manager would be so great to have.

Went i went to the Raw Supershow a couple of months ago, Otunga brought him out to face Santino, which he promptly killed lol. I actually thought at the time he would be brought onto tv & be put somehow with Laurinaitis.

Why is he dressed like Rob Van Dam? And why was he using a remixed version of Heidenreich's music?

I was expecting something very different. When I heard he was based on the terminator, I hoped he actually would be.

I wanted to see someone walk down to the ring, completely emotionless, take of his shades and jacket, destroy opponent, make an ominous comment (no more than 4 words), and leave emotionless. But this did feel very much like he was trying to be Goldberg.

If only Paul Heyman is his manager. Could made Ryback a star since we all know he can't really cut a promo well. Look at his time at NXT.

I guess everybody's saying that the WWE needs to step it up with debuts! Never likes Sheffield, plus that attire is HORRIBLE, and the minitron is just Cody's with Ryback on it. If anything, he looks like Goldberg, RVD, and the Big O rolled together, put into a microwave, and heated for over a year.

And PLEASE, WWE, bring back the local jobbers. I hate to see Hawkins/Riley/Reks squashed for the 100th time.
