Showdown 64 Help

I recently downloaded Showdown 64 6.0 and damn is it great. The only problem is that the textures still won't load for me. I had it running perfect with all textures loaded properly, the main cheat is selected and I was able to play. I closed it out and then next thing you know a lot of the wrestlers have missing attires. I did everything right as far as placing the files. I'm not sure what went wrong.

Majority of the wrestlers have wrong textures like before being textured. Some wrestlers have correct textures.

It was perfectly fine at first.. I played it for an hour or two then it changed up on me. Everything else works fine the arenas and interface is no problem.

I am not 100% sure, but it sounds like your save file somehow got corrupted. This happens to me once in a while, which is why I try to keep a backup of things. Maybe try downloading a new save file and replace the old one with it.

Which is strange because I kept a copy of the original save that came with the download.





EDIT: I replaced the save with the backup you just provided and nothing's changed. The textures still aren't properly loaded.

After counting I've came about atleast 215 wrestlers without correct textures.

They should have all the textures from the directory, I have never gone in and messed with anything.

I am not really sure why that is happening then. I might need to play around with my version of the save to see if I can replicate what is happening to you.

I was able to get your copy working by just running Project 64 as an administrator.

I don't know how to do that on mac. Actually looking at my user information, I'm an admin on my computer as it is.

I am also already an administrator on my computer but I still need to right click on Project 64 and go to properties and then go to the compatibility tab. Once I get there, I can check a box that says "Run this program as an administrator."

I don't have those options. I had no issue running older versions of this game .
