As previously reported, TNA is dropping the number of pay-per-view events they plan to hold in 2013. And either Destination X or Hardcore Justice was due to be dropped from the schedule.

TNA have not confirmed which show has been dropped, HOWEVER, they are in talks with independent wrestlers about appearing at Destination X.

As of 2011, Destination X has been a show centered around the X-Division, which is limited to wrestlers who weigh less than 225lbs (Samoa Joe is an exception).

The winner(s) of TNA British Boot Camp will also be at the show. There are already plans for a Knockout's battle royal, which could include either or both of the Blossum twins. Both Marty Scurll and Rockstar Spud qualify for the X-Division, so both could be in the Ultimate X match.

At this time, the plan for the Ultimate X match is to be number one contender's match. The X-Division Championship will be contested in another match.

Last year, it was confirmed that the X-Division champion after LockDown could chose to have a match for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship at Destination X. But he would forfeit the X-Division Championship if he did so. There was a plan late last year to have Rob Van Dam retain the X-Division title until then, and then go for the World title at Destination X. But these plans may have been cancelled. This stipulation has not been mentioned on screen or off camera for some time.

Destination X must stay. In all seriousness, it would be the only PPV I would pay for. The X-Division is the heart of TNA. Getting rid of it would kill the product IMO.
