<blockquote class='quote\\_blockquote'><dl><dt>Quote:</dt><dd> </dd></dl><div>- There were rumors over the weekend that WWE has made some releases but they won't be announced until everything is finalized and the talents are notified.

RAW Spoiler
- No stipulation is expected to be announced for the Brock Lesnar vs. John Cena match at WWE's Extreme Rules pay-per-view.

- As we noted before, TNA requested that WWE send them a Superstar to appear on one of their DVD's in exchange for allowing Ric Flair to appear at the 2012 WWE Hall of Fame ceremony. We don't know exactly who that WWE Superstar is yet but talk is that it's someone that has history with Sting, Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair.
Annual cut is always a controversy. I think someone unexpected and undeserving is getting cut. They always do this. Last year it was Chris Masters.
Melina had it coming, I would say.

As for Harry Smith, Vladimir Kozlov, till now I still think releasing them was a poor choice. Harry Smith and Tyson Kidd could have remained as a tag team with WWE having a lack of legit tag teams, while Nattie Neidhart could have been their mouth piece. The same could be said for Kozlov, except that Santino is the mouth piece.

As for Chris Masters, I was pretty sad that he didn't get elevated to IC or US title. He had the look, size, and an almost there mic skill to be a long term high mid carder.

As for this year, I would guess that Heath Slater, Trent Barreta and Jinder Mahal maybe the few that might get released.

I don't know or care who any of those people were besides Masters.

So...

There a lot of guys at risk right now.

Alex Riley - The WWE has lost faith in him. He has talent, but if the WWE aren't willing to invest in him, he will not achieve anything. At risk of being released.
Evan Bourne - Served 2 suspensions for Wellness Policy violations AND is currently battling a career-threatening injury. Even if he did come back, the WWE may be reluctant to push him.
Jack Swagger - Is in a similar place to Chris Masters.
JTG - His recent attire change is typical for a guy that the WWE is getting ready to give up on.
Mason Ryan - Just has not worked out how they had hoped. And now that TNA's muscle bound Welsh-man has been dropped to the undercard, the WWE has less reason to use Ryan.
Michael McGillicutty - Once the WWE or WWE.com brands someone as "boring", the end is always near. The fact that he is a legends son and a 3rd generation superstar doesn't mean as much as it used to. Especially as the WWE has access to so many.
Ricardo Rodriguez - Del Rio doesn't actually need him. Will the WWE push Rodriguez on his own? Probably not.
Camacho - Camacho has yet to have a singles match. Not a good sign.
Drew McIntyre - Has been on the main roster for almost 10 years, and still comes across as a newcomer. Not good considering the pushes he has had.
Ezekiel Jackson - The South American is a huge guy that is easily beaten by much smaller opponents. The WWE may not have plans for him.
Heath Slater - Usually, Stephanie McMahon does not like people with Southern Accents. In spite of having X-Pac heat, he does have a small cult following. This may not be enough to save him.
Hunico - Simply because his tag team with Camacho hasn't gone anywhere.
Jinder Mahal - They don't need an Indian star so bad now that Khali is back.
Johnny Curtis - Has yet to be involved with a storyline outside of NXT.
Trent Barreta - Has never been pushed and is rarely used.
Tyson Kidd - If his tag team with Justin Gabriel does not take off quickly, he could be released.
Yoshi Tatsu - With a bunch of Japanese themed stars coming in, Tatsu is not needed so badly.
Curt Hawkins - Has barely been used since his tag team with Zack Ryder ended.
Darren Young - Will always be the Nexus member that got sent back to NXT.
Titus O'Neil - The WWE are less likely to move him to SmackDown or Raw simply because of how much time he has spent on NXT.
Tyler Reks - This guy has been on the main roster for a long time but has yet to be used in a significant capacity. Could get released.
