For whatever reason, Ryback has officially been moved from the SmackDown roster onto the RAW brand.
The majority of Ryback's matches have been for the SmackDown brand, but he was moved to RAW in recognition of his upcoming WWE Championship match at Hell In A Cell.
The move has appeared to be pointless to many. The WWE website had been reducing the number of references to the brand extension, listing all onscreen talent as WWE Superstars. SmackDown stars have been officially allowed to appear on RAW for over a year, and RAW stars have been heavily featured on SmackDown shows. Staff within WWE did not understand what the point of re-drafting Ryback was, considering that he will be used on both shows anyway.
Big Show, who will be competing for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, is still listed as a RAW superstar.
