Still listening to it, completely agree with wrestling companies needing to help with medical insurance without punishing people for having time off for recovery.
Just 5 days off after elbow surgery? ridiculous.

Wrote an article in 09 about wrestling companies needing to help with mental health too,
They punish them for trying to work 24/7 with the help of "medication",
Instead of realizing, most of the time, the wrestler struggling either lost someone close to them, their body needs help recovering or both.
If they don't get help, they will (and have) fallen through the cracks.

i think cm punk is scum anyways

a vegan diet doesn't help much when it comes to repairing your body after so much punishment, the guy always looked sick, baggy eyes and not to mention super arrogant attitude all the time!

the worst thing is the fans are the ones that ended up losing, those that made him who is, the ones that followed him and chanted his name (no not the cm punk chants nowadays is just to spite vince and co not real fans imo) 'the best in the world' but couldn't handle the fame that came along with it, hating the attention...

now he is gone and made a big cry baby story to get sympathy, he got his settlement, he got what he wanted, he will not be missed.

KURT ANGLE WON AN OLYMPIC MEDAL WITH A BROKEN FREAKIN' NECK FFS!

That's not why he quit,

Away from the money, which, granted he did bitch about, extensively.
It was the bullshit politics and the constant hours.
Sure you can argue if he couldn't handle the heat, get out of the kitchen,
But he did that, and people bitch about him leaving?

Wrestlers don't owe fans shit,
Actors don't owe audiences shit,
Modders don't owe leechers shit,

Did you enjoy the match/films/mods they put together?
Good,
If not doesn't matter,
You still spent time away from stress watching/playing them.

10 years of wrestling matches for people to watch isn't enough?

Should he of ended up doing a shoot? fuck no, but if he didn't speak to the public, fanatical "fans" of his would of gone crazy till they got answers.

I'm not even a fan of the guy.

no i didn't listen to it what is wrestling???? what is a podcast... far out guys of course i did.

seriously, yeah the politics of:
"I WANNA WIN THE RUMBLE!"
"I SHOULD BEAT THE ROCK!"

Think about realism, punk couldn't beat these guys, i enjoyed his work a lot,

you are wrong Maximo they owe the fans EVERYTHING - are we not PAYING tickets and bills to watch them? paying to wear their t-shirts? buying their video games? spending hours and hours paying attention to detail and remembering their wins...
The fans are the reason why they perform, create, share, act, sing... because once they were fans to begin with.

He left his fans and have a look... THEY STILL FOLLOW HIM! that's loyalty owed.

what good is a show without an audience? or a forum without members? no good!

that is politics my friend, the people! the town! the voices! OUR VOTES

i think people will always bitch when their leaders leave them high and dry, then don't wanna even pose for photos.

he is not the first beaten up hurt wrestler in history to continue working while hurt (i think in Japan they do it) .... yeah WWE should totally take care of them better, but they wont rest their top guys (cash cows)

hoping he answer's JDF's MMA challenge...

It's not about loyalty owed, it's about getting out with some dignity. You honestly didn't listen to the whole thing, otherwise you would have heard about his staph infection and how he almost died because the doctor was incompetent.

I'd be pissed too if I had a few favours stacked up from the boss and that still happened to me (getting fired on my wedding day).

I really shouldn't post comments degrading someone's race, no matter how big the dot on their forehead might be or how many pictures they use to try to emulate a well known famous child predator. As for your fanboy comment? No, I just like looking at the facts. All that Punk has done etc etc etc, but you apparently have the ""real facts"" that facts that must label me a fanboy, so what are your facts?

Dude, every wrestler wants 3 things: fame, money, health. He got all. Sheamus and Miz don't get much fame. Rey, Alberto didn't get money for their category, Edge didn't get his health. CM Punk still wanted more. WWE is billion dollar company, when it gives you something great you except it you shouldn't ask for more.

Did you even listen to it? God damn all I see are people spouting stupid shit off without actually hearing what happened. The only money he wanted was the money HE earned. The only thing else he wanted was some time off to heal and for the love of god someone to cut that bump off. Sure he may of wanted MainEvent but if you fucking listened to him he would have been fine with doing a triple threat with Rock n Cena and being eliminated five minutes in. So what else did he want, you know so much more than me man, what else did he want?

He didn't speak for months, now what's the point of speaking all this? He just wants to defame the company. And stop acting as if you're Punks personal assistant.

I forgot this place was full of mentally challenged kids. Carry on, I'm done with 7/11 dude.

I'll add however, you're a fucking windowlicker, I never claimed to be a ""assistant"" and he wasn't defaming the company, he was telling his story, maybe so fuckin people like you who I bet your mother was trying to shallow but she gaged and spat you out so you made the drop to her crab infested twat will stop bugging him. I have to question why you even posted on here if you don't care or seem to have a dislike for Punk, but again you're busy lickin windows and fiddling with your chin strap so I'll leave you to it.

Same here!
Why you're after me if you care so much about that crybaby.
Nice try, it shows you're a big Punk fanboy. Try again, and come up with more aggressive post, sir.
Better luck next time!

Ahh, well I really enjoyed the podcast. He's definitely entertaining to listen to. I've listened to it twice and his decision to leave makes sense. He does sound like he was an asshole to a lot of people but I like his work ethic and the passion that he had for his craft. Its just unfortunate the way things ended.

NMCM, that post is smart. You gave your opinion. That's what we need to do here.
