The Legends Patch[WIP]

One of the first features I thought for the editor and one of the reasons why I chose to implement the editor as a web application.

Just wish someone would start using the feature...

You know that we can make a community patch together with svredit right?

If someone can start the editor on a web server and post the url to it, several people can edit the same database at once and the patch can be finished quicker.

This is epic my man, so let me get this straight, even with no ps2 emulator we could work on this from a url? Or did I go too far, if this is true then I'll enter the stuff I have to make it easier for those that want it. It's great to be able to speak on this even if I'm wrong as I am just grateful of the posibilities, not to mention the accomplishments. Thanks to everyone that's envolved.

Well everything you can do in the editor, someone else can do aswell over the internet. However the one hosting the server is the only one that has the files you are editing so he must publish them after edit.

WOW this is ape shit crazy, thanks NTB for this man, now may I ask how to start this as I'm new to all these wonderful things HERE in this topic and have no idea about how to get this started, TNA(aki) and I were thinking'speaking about this tonight

1. You start the editor on your computer, as you normally do.
2. Make sure port 2010 is open for remote access if you have a firewall.
3. Then its just for the other guys to surf to your ip address on port 2010.

So if your ip was 123.456.789.1
Others surf to your svredit by using the url http://123.456.789.1:2010

And then just let the editing begin. A tip is for the owner of the server to make backups quite often if something screws up. And remember that arc space cannot be brought back with the editor so use it wisely.

That's something I've never seen in any other editors and I thought it would be a cool feature to have. I just hoped someone would start to use it...

and It was AI VS AI so that crappy end happened
