Right now, TNA are planning another series of Boot Camp, but featuring Australian wrestlers.
Historically speaking, Australian wrestlers have not fared well in the North American continent. And due to the lengthy traveling times, companies have been reluctant to be involved with the country.
However, TNA feels that the Australian market is one that the WWE has failed to take advantage of, and TNA has a strong fan base there. TNA sees a chance to claim a new territory before WWE makes it there.
The brief British Boot Camp series has been the most successful TNA show ever broadcast in the UK. And it has also picked up solid ratings in North America too. While the show did do really well, Dixie Carter and Hulk Hogan do not want to do another British series too soon. Especially as all four contestants could be added to the TNA roster by the end of this year. But the format could prove to be a major success in other countries.
There are no suggestions as to who would be featured in the Australian series as yet.
