It is being reported that TNA have reached a new deal with Hulk Hogan.

There is no plus side to this story if it is true. Hogan has also managed to swindle a pay-rise from the struggling company. More than 20 performers' contracts were recently ended or allowed to expire in order to save money. Anyone who refused a pay cut risked losing their jobs. TNA Management also discovered that a large portion of their debt has resulted from paying Hogan. So this is an even bigger insult to wrestlers and fans. It should be noted that only Hogan and Magnus managed to get a pay increase during contract negotiations.

A knock on effect is that we can expect to see more people be removed from the company in budget cutting measures.

Styles is likely to quit the company now too. He has signed a temporary contract which will keep him with TNA until December. One of Styles' conditions was that he would only stay if Hogan left. TNA are using the argument that WWE has very little interest in him to keep him around. While TNA has little interest in him, Styles may still have enough youth and drawing power to make good money on the independent scene.

Hogan turned down an offer to return to WWE. Hogan, as he always does, requested to be the highest paid performer, but Triple H refused his demand. Hogan's new deal means that his annual TNA salary is the same as what The Rock and Brock Lesnar make for one WWE match these days. However, the offer from WWE for a yearly fee was not even close to TNA's agreed price.

This is just my thought so it may seem stupid but as much as i liked TNA, i wish the company will die for being such a cunt with its roster. Magnus had a pay increase but at least he is still wrestling while Hogan is sinking the company About Styles, the guy is in good shape and wouldn't struggle to find another company or on the indy scene as you said. I think he has the fate of TNA in his hands, if he stays the company may have few viewers but if he leaves it will end.

Well, at least after Vince buys all their footage I can get a proper "Best of the X Division" set which isn't a bunch of crap Impact matches.

Brother.

I don't even think Vince will even bother to buy TNA's stuff. Considering that he does not even bother about them.

I reckon that Vince would buy the footage simply because he will collect money for every time someone wants to watch it.

I can see him making a play for Samoa Joe, Kurt Angle, Sting and Beer Money too.

Personally I think the WWE did this on purpose. They know that they can make money with Hogan. But they also know that TNA can't make money at all while Hogan is around. And the funny part is, TNA will think that they beat the WWE on this one. Well played, Triple H.

I saw someone say once they wanted Vince to buy TNA and put out "(Former WWE Wrestler): The Lost Years" DVDs. Like Kurt Angle: The Lost Years and it's just full of TNA matches with him and whatnot. I found that idea hilarious.
