Match Recap (joined in progress):
[/SPOILER]
TNA president Dixie Carter tweeted Sunday during the Against All Odds PPV: "Jesse Sorensen was injured in the opening match of tonight's PPV. He is currently being transported to the hospital. I will keep you updated."
--- Update: TNA president Dixie Carter tweeted a second injury update on Jesse Sorensen during the Against All Odds PPV Sunday night. "Jesse has sustained a neck injury and is currently undergoing tests at the hospital. Will keep you updated," she said.
--- Update: A few hours removed from the Against All Odds PPV Sunday night, several TNA wrestlers expressed concern over the health of Jesse Sorensen. Sources have learned that Sorensen was taken away in an ambulance for tests because his body went numb. Sorensen was taken to a hospital, according to TNA president Dixie Carter on Twitter, but the location was not disclosed. The injury occurred when Sorensen took a knee to the back of the head on a moonsault from Zema Ion during the opening match of the PPV.
TDK's Take:
I haven't seen the video yet, but judging from the recap, it sounds as though he hardly moved after the initial contact. While we all wish for the best, I can't help but wonder about the wisdom of showing the replay over and over... If - God forbid - it turns out to be serious, we could end up with a very sickening situation on our hands... Anyway, let's just hope he's going to be okay...

Match Recap (joined in progress):
Jesse heads to the outside, so Ion goes to the top rope, and hits an asai moonsault from the middle rope, hitting Sorensen with his knees right to Jesse's face. Ion heads back into the ring, and it looks like Jesse might be legit shaken up.
The ref counts, and he gets all the way up to nine and Sorensen doesn't stir. Ion breaks the count for a second. The ref checks on Jesse and throws up an X. The bell rings, and this one is over.
Trainers run out from the back, and Sorensen has barely moved since Ion hit that moonsault. Ion heads out of the ring and toward the back, pointing at himself and saying he's the number one contender. Ion is indeed announced the winner of the match.
Winner and NEW #1 Contender to the X Division Championship: Zema Ion
Looking at the replay, it's obvious that Ion's knee did indeed strike Sorensen's head square. Doctor's are ringside checking on Jesse, and JB and Mike sell the "high risk" aspect of high risk moves.
Tenay and JB continue to discuss Jesse's injury, talking about how high risk moves are the hallmark of the X Division. They continue to replay footage of the move that led to Sorensen's count out, which doesn't seem right. People ringside are looking concerned and Tenay and JB continue to kill time for a bit before sending it backstage.
