Despite claiming that he loved being a part of RAW this week, Tommy Dreamer is now furious with the WWE, particularly with the members of the Shield.
He was legitimately hurt during the backstage assault by the rookies. At one point, Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins performed a double Irish Whip on Dreamer, directing him into a metal shutter. While Reigns performed the stunt properly, Rollins added a very dangerous twist to the move. He grabbed Dreamer by the head and shoved him towards the door. Rollins also held onto Dreamer's right arm for too long. Dreamer was unable to re position himself and took the full impact in his head. He can be seen grabbing his head and falling to the floor in pain immediatly afterwards. What was not so clear was that Dreamer's head hit a bolt in the door.
The impact caused a portion of his forehead to swell, forcing Dreamer to check himself into an emergency room. It is not clear if he was cut during the incident, or the swelling split his skin. Either way, the swelling is preventing his wound from healing.
WWE were very happy with Dreamer and were hoping to work with him in the near future. Dreamer was a last minute addition to the show as he was only contacted on Monday afternoon.
