Triple H reportedly wants more Spanish-speaking wrestlers signed since he believes the Hispanic market is a major key to the prosperity of WWE. More specifically, he wants wrestlers who can conduct interviews in both English and Spanish.

Rosa Mendes in particular has been directed to yell at ringside in Spanish as much as possible since she's bilingual.

If they look half as good as Rosa, then I'm all for it... Honestly, that girl could yell at me all day long and I'd just smile and say - thank you dear...

But getting back on topic, why do I get the feeling this is all about having Hispanics work cheap and being easy to bury 'cause they don't understand what's going on?... Maybe 'cause it's coming from Mr. Stephanie McMahon?</td><td>

Actually, I will defend Triple H on this one.

He is right. SmackDown would not be on television right now if it was not for its massive hispanic audience. And history has shown that the luchadores are amazingly popular in both English and Spanish speaking countries. For example, Eddie and Chavo Guerrero, Super Crazy, Psicosis, Rey Mysterio, Alberto Del Rio, and many many more.

Also, AAA is rising in popularity. I know of one fan forum that makes mods for No Mercy and SvR. One of their SvR modders has just completed a wide selection of AAA mods which has gone down very well. And also, the key to Chikara and ROH's success had been wrestlers adopting the Canadian, European and Mexican styles.

Even TNA is more interested in working with AAA instead of concentrating on fixing their own product.

One thing that always holds hispanic stars back is the inability to speak English. How can they survive in a company that holds 80% of it's shows in English speaking regions? Again, hispanic wrestlers who could not speak English do not tend to last long.

The only problem is, who is going to help these stars once they come to WWE? Because Triple H warned Sin Cara not to listen to anyone regarding US wrestling other than himself. And we all know what kind of 5-star matches Sin Cara always has!

In Sin Cara's defense, he had a lot of things to overcome. There really were not a lot of guys they could even book him with, considering his short time using a style that isn't lucha libre. They just didn't really have anyone to compliment his style besides Rey, who apparently didn't want that to happen quite yet. They should have given him more time in FCW to get his bearings. He isn't a bad wrestler at all, just rushed.

WWE has slowly but surly been getting a much more international feel. Barret, Great White, Gabriel, others all are starting to look like a legitimate
Wrestling league" that spans the globe. Hopefully, someday it could be realized. The spanish audience is easily a market the WWE should tap into, they probably are starting to realize how much of the world truly does watch the product, thanks to the internet. Maybe a good cruiser-weight division might happen someday.

The question is, who to sign ? As far as I know there isn't a group of cruiserweights / mexican wrestlers who can equal or even compare to the ones who came out in the 90's.
