to get the most out of your pj64 using windows 7 first right click on your pj64 shortcut and select properties and change the compatibility to an older windows.

Great tut! But I gotta problem. When I go to PJ64, Current Game Settings and Texture Filters tabs say: Advanced options cannot be changed (or showed). It happens while I am running NM and when I'm not running it. Have you ever had a similar problem?

Some of these settings will depend on your computer, for example my settings are vastly different and my games runs fine using Windows 7. One example is I have Accurate Textures checked while Michael has his unchecked.

I'm on Windows 7 and had this happen too until I changed some of the settings, so the first thing you want to do if you haven't already done is to make sure you are using an older windows compatibility mode first (see first post in this thread), and the second thing is to go to "Render Engine" in the general options tab and try both options, as it all depends on your computer.. on M's example above what worked for him is the 'OpenGL' option while on mine it's 'Direct X'. If I try the other one I get the black screen/audio only problem you have described, so try changing this setting and see if that works.

If that doesn't work, can you post what settings you're using? I'll try and see what I can do to help. :)
