Both WWE Diva Kaitlyn and WWE/TNA alumni Matt Morgan announced that they are leaving wrestling today.
Just like several other former Divas, Kaitlyn is leaving to try new careers. She has not yet indicated what she plans to do. She has been working as a columnist for a fitness magazine and website during her WWE tenure. There were plans to use her as a host for several features on the WWE Network.
Matt Morgan is leaving wrestling to begin a new career as a regional manager for a “big-time medical companyâ€. Morgan admitted that the new job allowed him to spend time with his new-born child (born yesterday) and make considerably more money. Even though Morgan’s last TNA contract offered good money, he was seldom used, meaning that he was making very little. The best offer received from WWE would require him to travel 240 days a year, and would not pay nearly as much as his current job.
Morgan is refusing to acknowledge that this is a retirement from wrestling, but a return does not look likely with his new career path.
