<blockquote class='quote\\_blockquote'><dl><dt>Quote:</dt><dd> </dd></dl><div>Tyler Reks posted the following on his Twitter account in regards to his release from WWE.

I just want to say thank you to WWE, Inc. for allowing me to be part of an incredible entertainment experience. On Monday, I asked for my release and the company was gracious enough to grant my request.

I realized recently that being a Superstar means sacrificing certain things, including time with my family. As a new father, my heart broke every time I had to leave to go on the road. I didn't ever want to miss another moment with my daughter, so I made the decision to be a full time dad and hang up my boots.

I will miss everyone in the locker room tremendously as they have all become a second family to me. I want to thank my coaches and teachers that really helped me along the way: Fit Finlay, Arn Anderson, Edge, Christian, Kane, Jericho, Dr. Tom, Norman Smiley, and Billy Kidman.

I also want to thank my boys. You know who you are. Especially though, a huge thank you to Hawkins. You were like a brother to me the last year and I'll miss you and will always love you bro. I wish you the best and thanks for understanding that I had to go be a dad. When she's older, and able to realize what happened, I know Mia will thank you as well.

Thanks to all the dedicated fans of #ReksAndHawkins and to The #RekkingCrew. I would never have survived without you.

I am glad that he will have a job. Eventually , he could have a lot of money from that. So i think he did it right , although i will miss him. He and Hawkins were a good tag team , which i would liked to see at some point holding the tag belts. It will not happen , but that isn't matter.
If he is happy , i am more than happy , and i respect him.
Way to go Reks , and have a success in your new job.

Reks was my favourite superstar. I don't blame his decision but I wish he could have had proper limelight before his departure. He was a truly gifted wrestler and performer and I don't think he had enough time to show it. I wish him the best in future years though.

I respect his decision.

Realistically, he is not a big loss to the roster. The WWE never really had anything for him, and he has a very small fanbase. Would he have fans if he wasn't in a team with Curt Hawkins? For a large guy, he didn't really have anything special.

I was expecting something angrier. I was expecting him to complain about how WWE never gave him a chance. So it was a pleasent surprise to see that HE decided to leave for family. Mad respect for the guy.

Although, I hope this means that Hawkins will get pushed as a solo star now. He has carried countless tag teams and has even helped the veterans Edge and Chris Jericho.

(I may be over-tired, but I like the idea of a Hawkins-Slater tag team).

Hawkins-Slater tag team? No please...no....

As for Reks, well, I'll always remember him for the plane ride incident, and that he's pretty okay wrestler in the ring and on the mic.
