Since the announcement of the WWE Network, there has been 2 conflicting reports on how much it will cost.

It was confirmed on Raw tonight that the subscription channel will cost $9.99 per month, however, it is subject to 6 month contracts. Essentially, it means it will cost $59.94 for 6 months.

Some organisations (not just dirtsheet sites) were confused by this and assumed that the Network would be $60 for an entire year. Twelve month contracts will become available in due course, but there is no information on when this would happen or how much it will cost.

It was also confirmed that the Network will broadcast ALL pay-per-views from WrestleMania XXX onwards for no extra charge. Some outside sources incorrectly reported that WM30 would be the only free PPV on the Network, but this contradicts all announcements made by the WWE so far.

Month to month contracts will come after the first 6 months, as well. I think it's just for the kickoff, and it'll taper off.

The $9.99 per month is likely to stay for some time. Even though it is a proper channel, they see NetFlix online as their main competition. Unlike the WWE Network, Netflix has liscences to show material that they do not legally own. The WWE is limited to their own library. It is extensive, but not as big as NetFlix. So while Netflix is offering a larger product, the WWE will likely keep their price down.
