I'v downloaded a DVD and everything seems fine. But I noticed that on Disc 3 Part 3, It does not show an image of the video on the desktop/in a folder. Heres a picture.

I then went ahead and played it in VLC and I notcied something strange. It says it is 14 minutes 12 seconds long. I was watching the seconds go up and it took 5 seconds to do 1 second. I thought something happened in the download so I re-downloaded it and it was still the same. Heres a picture of the video in VLC.

So I thought I would try it in Media Player Classic to see if it was the same on that. But it was not, It was how it should be which is 48 minutes and 4 seconds and the seconds went up each second. Picture below.

Im curious if anyone knows why the video is like that in VLC and the video preview is not shown in the folder/desktop? Both are fustrating me as I use VLC more as I get a better image for it for capping and in the folder, it looks odd on its own.

I had the same problem last year I guess, I forgot about it and later my PC got flooded with viruses and later I had formatted my PC and the problem got fixed... Maybe something's wrong with the codec.... And are you using Windows 7 ???

Maybe these points could be useful/might fix the problem...
1) Try to delete the thumbnail cache
2) Cleaning up your registry could help
