Two weeks ago, the Ministry of Slam show did an interview with Shawn Michaels, during which HBK alluded to an unnamed WWE star who Vince McMahon doesn't "see money" in, and does not believe in his ability to draw.

In an update to that story, F4WOnline.com is now reporting that the superstar in question is Daniel Bryan, and the following is a PWTorch.com transcript of what HBK had to say in the interview:

"I had a conversation a couple of weeks ago with the man in charge and we were talking about a certain individual and he goes, 'I just don't see money in him.' And I said, 'You said the same thing about me.' He said, 'I did not.' I said, 'Yes you did!' (laughs) I said, 'And it's okay. It's just one of those things.'"

"I wasn't your prototypical—heck, I wasn't anybody's prototypical main event guy. And I knew that. So, you just do your absolute best," said Michaels. "Yes, I was very scared and very worried, which had a lot to do with how bad I handled stuff because I spent a great deal of my career waiting for the other shoe to drop. Because it was a very real view of me and my ability and my talent. I'm a firm believer that talent does rise to the top, but you have to be patient. So, I spent a great deal of time worried, intimidated, and concerned that with each passing storyline, it might be the last one."

According to the F4WOnline.com report, because Daniel Bryan will be featured prominently in the upcoming Total Divas reality show due to his real life relationship with Brie Bella, his position in WWE is said to be "safe" for the time being. As we previously reported, there has been talk of Bryan challenging John Cena for the WWE Title at SummerSlam this year.
UPDATE:

Quote:

As noted earlier, Shawn Michaels recently revealed during an interview with the Ministry of Slam podcast that he had a conversation with Vince McMahon, who said that he doesn't "see money" in an anonymous WWE Superstar. Bryan Alvarez of Figure Four Weekly reported that the person McMahon was referring to could have been Daniel Bryan.

Shawn Michaels took to his Twitter to deny that claim, stating that Vince was big on Bryan and that the person he was referring to "is actually 6'3 250."

"That [Bryan] isn't even who we were talking about," Michaels wrote. "He's big on DB. Shame y'all let those folks work you like that... No, the guy is actually 6'3 250, ironically, y'all miss the same point he did. Amusing since everyone's knocking him."

When asked who he was referring to in the interview, Michaels replied, "I would have said if I thought relevant. Not DB tho."
6'3 250? Who is the guy that Shawn Michaels talking about? Sound off your thought below, OSR people.

The truth is, McMahon has lost his touch. He doesn't know what it takes to make a star anymore. The breakout stars have become so by being really good in the ring or being really entertaining.

Santino and Ryder may never be championship material, but people want to see them because they are entertaining. Dolph Ziggler and Daniel Bryan are championship material, because they worked on it. They didn't need over promotion and over packaging like the John Cenas and the Randy Ortons.

The reason why the Antonio Cesaros and the Tyson Kidd's cannot make it is because Vince McMahon does not know how to market them anymore.

Now that Jamie Noble has much more stroke, things may get much better.

There's no way you can "see money" in a superstar imo. I mean, sure, there's people who just DON'T have it, but you have to really suck to have that happen. Like, Cena for example. He is a passable wrestler and he's decent on the mic (Don't even bother arguing with me about this.) They made him into the draw that he is and that's why Cena is making them money. With that logic, if someone wants to work as hard as Cena does, they can be turned into money too.

Vince still "sees money" in Mason Ryan.

I don't think he's lost his touch, though. He's kinda always been 50/50 with his ideas.

I love how idiots all assumed he was talking about Daniel Bryan, he wasn't. Shawn had to clarify he was NOT talking about DB, he actually said Vince is high on Daniel Bryan. The guy he was talking about, is taller and heavier than Daniel Bryan is. Naturally this being the internet, people jump to conclusions.

I mean seriously people, use your fucking brain. He is not high on DB, yet DB is on every single show, he was put in the All Stars MITB match, and is said to be feuding with John Cena over the Summer? Come on now.

That's why I assumed it was a work... because I honestly don't believe HBK would say something out of kayfabe concerning the company.

I also heard rumors of HBK being involved in the Summerslam feud..... just seemed to tie the whole thing together.

Zack Ryder used to be entertaining. After his run got halt, he has lost passion and the will to wrestle. It's pretty obvious. Now his skits are half hearted. He's just doing them for the sake of doing them.
