Unlocking Attires:
To unlock the hidden attires for any wrestler, simply complete any Hardcore Challenge with them.
Unlocking Levels:
To unlock a level, simply win a match that started in that level in Hardcore Challenge mode. The Media Centre is only accessible in World Title mode, while the Parking Lot can be accessed in either World Title or U.S. Title mode.
Unlocking Moves and Taunts:
While using any character in Hardcore Challenge match, perform as many different moves as possible in a single match. Eventually, the phrase ‘Move Unlocked’ will appear. You can only unlock one new move per match.
Unlocking Wrestlers:
Billy Kidman – Beat him in U.S. Title Hardcore Challenge mode.
Bret Hart – Beat the Hardcore Gauntlet 5 times.
Brian Adams – Begin a match in The Block in Hardcore Challenge. Irish whip your opponent into the flaming barrel. Alternatively, strike the flaming barrel with the 2x4, and then strike the opponent with the flaming 2x4.
Bryan Clark – Unlock Brian Adams.
Buff Bagwell – Beat him in U.S. Title Hardcore Challenge mode.
Chris Candido – Beat him in U.S. Title Hardcore Challenge mode.
Daffney – Beat Hardcore Challenge with Sid.
Don Harris – Beat him in U.S. Title Hardcore Challenge mode.
Elizabeth – Unlock Lex Luger and beat any Hardcore Challenge with him.
Eric Bischoff – Unlock Vince Russo and then win World Title Hardcore Challenge mode with him.
Evan Karagias – Begin a Hardcore Challenge match in the media centre. Strike your opponent with the TV set until it cracks.
General Rection – Win the Hardcore Guantlet once.
Johnny The Bull – Beat him in Hardcore Title Hardcore Challenge mode.
Kanyon – Beat him U.S. Title Hardcore Challenge mode.
Kimberly – Beat World Title Hardcore Challenge mode with DDP.
Lance Storm – Beat Hardcore Gauntlet 3 times.
La Parka – Begin a Hardcore Challenge match in the Truck Arena. Use the steel chair to knock out your opponent.
Lex Luger – Defeat him in World Title Hardcore Challenge.
Madusa – Begin a Hardcore Challenge match in the Bathrooms. Go through the doors into the Ladies’ Bathroom. Remove both sinks and both mirrors from the wall.
Mike Awesome – Begin a Hardcore Challenge match in the Block. Go into the secret room. Perform a grapple move close to the wooden table, couch or weightlifting bench. If the item of furniture breaks, Awesome will be unlocked.
Miss Hancock – Create a wrestler with the ‘Nasty Hip Swivel’ taunt. Then use the taunt in any Hardcore Challenge match.
Norman Smiley – Create a wrestler with the ‘Big Wiggle’ taunt. Then use the taunt in any Hardcore Challenge match.
Rey Mysterio, Jr. – Beat him in U.S. Title Hardcore Challenge mode.
Ron Harris – Beat him in U.S. Title Hardcore Challenge mode.
Scott Hall – Beat World Title Hardcore Challenge mode with Kevin Nash.
Shane Douglas – Beat him in Hardcore Title Hardcore Challenge mode.
Shane Helms – Unlock Evan Karagias.
