@dopehat420 - all you should need from pmomo's patch is the z64 file and then set the cheat file up like this
Arenas - All On
Camera - Zoom normal
Cheats - Always Special Off, Championship mode On, Hacking Tools all on except Instant Blood
Entrances - On
Green screen Off [also delete the file named green screen in the Hire_Textures part of the plugin]
Matches [optional dont put them all one at once]
Misc - On
Roster - On
Weapons - On
XRom Hacks - ON
and also ensure your using Mudlord's rice plugin supplied with the game

Thanks for the tips Wolfpac. It seems to be working. I just had a pretty long epic match using Raven and Vampiro with no issues. Haha project64 crashed coming out of full screen but I'm not that picky lol.
If anyone else runs into the same issues I had though, I remedied it by following the cheat order Wolfpac posted expect for Roster and Rom hack. I selected the cheats before I started the rom. Waited up to the main menu to switch on the Roster and rom hacks(I wasn't sure if there are toki3s) and it ran fine like I said.
Amazing work again Wolfpac, this is one of the best saves I have ever seen. I've trolled around since 2006 and this is honestly the best work I've seen for a full on game modification since like Forever Indy. Thanks again. :The Mario Dance:
Sadly I have to retract my statement about it working. Locked up during a match then at the character select screen. At this point I guess I should ask if there are certain settings for Mudlord that you might have? I'm pretty sure I've thought about everything else it might be. I mean I thought it was all the cheats trying to load at once. I've doubled check that i'm using Mudlord and not Rice. I'm willing to accept that my computer might just not cut it when it comes to running project64 but I've spent days and days playing other game saves(Forever Indy, Legends and the AKI save WCW Starrcade) so I'm pretty sure my PC isn't the issue. I dunno...guess I'll just have to wait and see if anyone else is having the same issues.

Dude this save was released and I didn't even know it! This is what, a save that took 2-3 years? Excellent, wish I could download it now, but I'm tired. I'll get it tomorrow and play this until my fingers get sore (I hope that doesn't happen, I'm sick enough already).

Hmm me thinks i will make a FAQ and updated cht file for this
Kingkanyon upload this at WLF seems to make things run smoothly set the file up like this
Also keep in mind when the game has loaded the cht file shouldn't be altered as it will effect the patch which can cause the problems your describing

Actually,got it to work,with your check/uncheck post,uncheck xRomHacks till the exhibition/choose mode screen.
Had a awesome match,nWo White - The Giant(me) vs Goldberg for the WHC on Nitro 97,he dominated in the beggining,I reversed the situation and in one point we were both bleeding and I hit 2 Chokeslams on him and even stole his Jackhammer but he kicked out at 2,then WCW Cruiser Champ Jericho interfered in my behalf,until Luger from nWo Wolfpac came,attacked me,and I lost by count out when he got me outside with a reverse armbar while Jericho and Goldberg were brawling in the ring.

I've had more stable matches by leaving roms hacks off. Although I'm sure it takes away from the save. I've had glitches happen though, like I went for a tag match and 2 wrestlers were invisible other two didn't have their textures so they just looked like AKI goofs. The pause menu took like two tries to load up. I pressed start and the screen froze but the menu didn't show, I pressed B and the screen resumed so I press start again and the menu actually showed up. Hit restart the match restarted, all 4 were invisible and the arena was tweaking out. Like blacking out, so i exited out to the main menu but none of the textures were loaded. So I went to the wrestler selection page and none of those textures were showing up. So I had to restart cause eventually it just locked up on me.(Thankfully my whole computer doesn't lock up, just the project64 program)
Before all that though I had a pretty good amount of matches. I went as Vader vs Bam Bam Bigelow, stiff as fuck till he took me through the table with I believe the Fire Thunder driver? Greetings From Asbury Park anyways..Then I took Meng(Haku) against Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart, was pretty brutal, he got me to tap a few times to the sharpshooter but in the end I took his ass down with the Tongan Death Grip then followed up with a headbutt from the top. Landed right on the back of his head to win at like 19 mins.
Despite my issues this is seriously the funniest I've had with No Mercy in a while. I just sit back, take a puff and its like i'm a little kid again playing No Mercy on the old N64(Helps that I shelled out $15 for a USB N64 controller.) Thanks for the epic game Wolfpac. Always thought WCW took a backseat in the videogame department. I mean Revenge was cool and all, god knows I played that game to death back in the day. But this could totally be marketed as a WCW game and no one would really question it or guess it was WWF No Mercy. Epic job man, may have took a few years but well worth it.

Not yet, I'm about to though. I think I have to come to terms with not playing in full screen haha. I started a tag match, was running fine so I went to go full screen and project64 crashed. I dunno if Mudlord just doesn't work well in full screen mode or maybe my graphics card is going out. I have it connected to my TV through an HDMI cord...but I don't think that would really be relevant to the problems I've come across. I am hopeful though, those roms hacks really peak my interest. The Mask Tearing code reminds me of VPW2 so I'm in a hurry to get some badass lucha matches going.

Load the gane clear the cht file set the cheats then reset the game im gonna look in to the patch hacks they wotk fine for me

Its pretty stable after I switched from DirectX to OpenGL, loaded the game, set the CHT file as on page 18 then clicked reset. Everything seems to be fine(Rom hacks and all) Nothing alarming besides some times the CPU will try and headlock punch the air and sometimes when I leave a tagteam match(Or during) I get this error. ""Failed to load word. Verify ROM and ROM settings"" which makes no sense to me lol. But I've been playing pretty much glitch free for like two hours so thanks for the help.

Very impressive mod but just a little criticism about the move sets mainly Goldberg for now.
His ducking taunt should be "Buh Buh" that was his original taunt from WCW/NWO revenge and he needs his double underhook suplex somewhere and his spinning back kick 5 should be swapped for that drop kick. Never really seen goldberg do a drop kick? And the running body splash should probably be changed to a flying shoulder block.
